Hey, Phred!
Today...
is your day!
Happy Birthday
to our
Southern Gentleman

born in Richmond, Virginia.

It was a wonderful time for our family.
Nico and Sam were so happy
to have you get here!

Gramma B had come to Virginia
to help out before you were born
and stayed for a few weeks after you came.
She spent a LOT of time with you
in the rocking chair.

A month later
Grandma O
came for a visit.
You are special to her
because we named you after your
Uncle Frederick
(Grandma's son who died)
who was named after his
Uncle Frederick
(Grandma's brother).

3 months old
So let's celebrate your life!
Let's celebrate your joy!

giving Dad a slobbery kiss
Let's celebrate your love!

Let's celebrate wonderful you!
WARNING:
There are probably WAY too many pictures here.
Now that my photos are in a workable state of organization
I can access them.
And there are so many great pictures
that I had a hard time cutting down.
So I just had to stop at
The Millennium.
I figured you'd enjoy the early pictures
that you haven't seen for awhile.
Here we go!

First birthday in Virginia, with Nico

This was a very typical sight,
the three of you boys
enjoying being together.

Picking flowers at Jamestown, VA
This was such a cool place.
There was a very real spirit at the
original site of Jamestown.
We spent a wonderful day there.

You and me at Jamestown

The Feet.

This may have been your first bike ride with Dad
and you loved it!

And how can we forget our
Ice Castle?
Finished in time for
the 6th Birthday Celebration of...

Sir Frederick of Oak Den

who removed the sword in the stone
and fought the wicked dragon.
Was that fun, or what?!
Fred!
You are so dang cute!

Thanks for being a part of our family!
May this year bring
blessings
to your
heart and mind
and with those blessings
may you share your
