This is a most unusual spring.
They say we live in a desert.
The high-country desert.
I'm wondering about the desert part.
It has been wet-wet-wet around here.
And cool-ish for these parts.
And green.
Oh. The green.
I haven't seen green like this since the Virginia days
(tear dripping from my eye).
I know it will end soon enough.
And we'll be blasted with the hot, dry air of summer.
For now I'm enjoying the novelty of it all.
