...to talk about the significance of this school year for Jake and Abbie?
Four weeks ago Jake started school as a Senior. How'd that happen so quickly?
Jake is such a great guy! He has always had a golden heart, he's always been kind and loving and just a great guy. And funny. Goodness, is he funny! 
Miss Abbie has begun her public school experience. She goes to 6th grade orchestra (violin) and choir classes in the morning, stays for recess, then comes home for her home school classes.
She was pretty excited to get to this phase of her school experience. She rides her bike to school with two neighbor boys. That will change, of course, once the snows fly.
Life just keeps tromping along. Lots of new experiences. Lots of opportunities to grow.Life, for the most part, is good!

They are such cute kids...you have given them a wonderful start, Shaun. And just when you thought things would slow down a little...RS President.
That happened to my daughter Laura the Sunday before her youngest started kindergarten in Italy. And it happened to my other daughter, Jennifer in Scotland the same day her first baby was blessed.
God does have a wonderful sense of humor we have decided!
Abbie will do great in her public school experience but it must be weird seeing her peddle off, being your youngest and all. Good thing she comes home after recess to keep you company!
