that had cute little shops

and when you stepped inside
you were greeted by this...
and you could choose
from so many varieties of
biscuits and candies and sweet confections,
and this was just a "normal" little shop?
Or suppose you needed a bit of
oh...
chocolate?

Everywhere
there are wonderful shops,
beautiful feasts for the eyes
and for the taste buds.
It seemed to me that the French
take great pleasure in
creating beautiful places
to present their confections.
It is an art.
(Have you seen the movie Chocolat with Juliette Binoche?)

Better to not even LOOK at the OUTSIDE of these shops let alone step inside!!! With the French it is all about Presentation so they will always win and you lose----or worse yet, you gain :)
