Yes, google, facebook and myspace are great fodder for blackmail! I love it. Another lesson learned: don't hire domestic help from Craigslist. Go through a reputable agency. You don't want to be liable for worker's comp, you want them to be bonded by the company so that if they steal something, you have a shot at some kind of remedy, and you don't have to worry about legal status or payroll taxes. Let hired help be someone elses problem, not yours.
