All Done...For Now

Let's see, how long have we been going to soccer games?

Hummmmm...we started in 1993 while we lived at Ft. Irwin. Nick and Sam were our only players then.

So, that would be 15 years now.

And how do I feel about that?

Oh, it is great. Lots and lots of great memories. I remember one year when the game started late and it got dark pretty early and so we parents positioned our cars and turned on the headlights so the kids could finish their game! That was in the early days of City soccer here. Things have improved.

We aren't coaching every year like we used to. There are plenty of people now who realize how great soccer is and who are willing to coach. Now we get to go to the games and sit and enjoy!

Even when it is cold and windy we enjoy the game.

And next spring we'll be doing this again.
